Kendal is formally trained in painting and graphic design, and has been using their keen eye for detail, color, and composition in their tattooing craft since 2015. From significant and transformative, to lighthearted and nostalgic, tattoos are a radical way to declare ownership of one’s body. Kendal works from the viewpoint that they are a collaborator in the discovery and display of one of the many pieces of essence from which you are built.
Their best work is in the illustrative realism and neo-traditional styles. Color is their strong suit, but they also enjoy black and gray work. They do not accept watercolor, text, lineless, or single needle projects.
